Debate: Sharing Our Defence Market with Authoritarian Regimes

Date: Friday 5th February 2021

Tactics Institute presents a discussion on the modern phenomenon of captive states, reliant on their arms industries and exports to regimes that are able to shape their economic model. The dynamic has serious implications for the European Union.

Joining the discussion will be Czech MPs Marketa Gregorova (Greens-European Free Alliance) and Jan Lipavsky (Pirate Party); along with  Associate Professor Brigadier-General Metodi Hadji-Janev, and Assistant Professor Michal Vit who both contributed to Tactics Institute's work on the captive state phenomenon.
