Tactics Institute Calls for Immediate Action to Address Security Threats Ahead of Paris Olympic Games

The Tactics Institute urgently calls on French authorities and international stakeholders to address the escalating security threats surrounding the upcoming Paris Olympic Games. With over 30,000 police officers, 20,000 security guards, and 10,000 military personnel being deployed, the Institute highlights the pressing need for comprehensive and immediate measures to ensure the safety of participants and spectators alike.

The Paris Olympic Games, set to attract more than 15 million tourists and a global audience of a billion viewers, have become a focal point for potential security breaches. The French intelligence services have reported a high risk of foreign interference and terrorist attacks, with Islamist terrorist groups posing a latent threat. The presence of individuals capable of activating sleeper cells within France exacerbates an already volatile situation.

Recent incidents, including a knife attack by a previously convicted radical near Le Mans and the arrest of a Russian intelligence agent in Paris, underscore the gravity of the threat. The turmoil from the war in Gaza and attempts by pro-Russian groups to disrupt the Games further heighten concerns. These actions jeopardize not only the safety of the athletes and spectators but also the peace and stability of the region.

The Tactics Institute demands that all implicated parties cease activities that contravene international laws and fundamental human rights. The belligerent entities, including terrorist groups and foreign intelligence operatives, must immediately halt their destabilizing actions. The French government and international security bodies must intensify their efforts to dismantle these networks and prevent any form of interference during the Games.

The Institute also calls for enhanced cybersecurity measures in light of the 450 million cyber-attacks experienced during the Tokyo Olympics. The recent disinfection operation in Paris, addressing a widespread computer virus, highlights the need for continuous vigilance and international cooperation in combating cybercrime.

The Tactics Institute urges all belligerent actors to immediately cease their activities and respect the sanctity of the Olympic Games, ensuring the safety and security of all involved.
