Europol Video Series 2: Cybersecurity after Brexit

In our second video interview on Europol, Tactics Institute speaks to Ritesh Kotak, a cybersecurity expert with experience in two police agencies in Canada.

Ritesh co-led the creation of the Cyber-Crimes Unit in Canada as well as the Research and Innovation portfolio, focusing on digital transformation. In 2018, he was selected by Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government for their Emerging Leaders Executive Programme. He is also Canadian, a country that Leave campaigners in the UK often evoke as a model of cooperation with Europe. Tactics approached Ritesh for his take on the Brexit process. We asked him to be as specific as possible on subjects such as money muling, election hacking, corruption, and the broader challenge of regulating the Internet.
