Dr Zelenko is also Political Analyst and Head of Department of Theoretical and Applied Political Science of the I.Kuras Institute of Political and Ethno-National studies of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine. She specializes in political transition in the CIS, historical institutionalism, and electoral processes. Dr Zelenko holds a BA in History from the State Pedagogical Institute; an MA in Political Transitions from the Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies (NAS), and a PhD from the I. Kuras Institute of Political and Etho-National studies. She speaks English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish.
