Tactics Institute condemns the systematic campaign of genocide conducted by Israel in Gaza.

The Tactics Institute denounces, in the strongest terms, the methodical campaign of genocide, ethnic cleansing and forced displacement that has been perpetrated by the Israeli military in Gaza. According to the reports of the Gaza Government Media Office, violently 77 percent of Gaza was integrated into Israel, representing a breach of international humanitarian law and the 1949 Geneva Conventions.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s military campaign has killed not less than 53,939 Palestinians and injured more than 122,797, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. The Government Media Office has now revised the toll to more than 61,700 and cited thousands still unaccounted for beneath the rubble, presumed dead.

At least 22 Palestinians, including journalist Hassan Majdi Abu Warda and many family members, were killed in assaults around the Gaza Strip on May 25, 2025. These deliberate murders of people, including journalists, contribute to the expanding list of war crimes that go unpunished.

Israel says it has allowed 100 trucks of relief to in since Wednesday, but it is far less than what is needed for a population of more than two million people suffering from starvation and complete infrastructure collapse.

The Israeli tactic of causing mass displacement under pretenses of “evacuation” orders has obliterated northern Gaza. The few remaining did not resist; they simply had justification-based fears that no area would be truly safe. The bombardment of repeatedly labeled “safe zones”, like al-Mawasi and central Gaza (the site where displaced civilians flowed), is just a symptomatic strategic approach to completely remove the Palestinian people.

The Tactics Institute now calls on the United Nations, the European Union, and all states adhering to international law to:

  • Act swiftly to demand a cease of hostilities and enforce an immediate arms embargo on Israel.
  • Investigate Israel’s actions through the International Criminal Court building upon the forced displacements, war on civilians, and the use of starvation as a weapon of war.
  • Demand open and unrestricted access to humanitarian aid in Gaza and fully restore the flow of medical supplies, fuel, clean drinking water, and communications capacity.
