The Tactics Institute for Security and Counterterrorism has issued a stark warning following Israeli airstrikes in Beirut targeting Hezbollah’s headquarters. The strikes, which destroyed several buildings in a densely populated area, have escalated tensions in the region and deepened Lebanon’s humanitarian crisis.

The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that the airstrikes resulted in at least six deaths and left dozens wounded. With Israel conducting further strikes on what it claims are Hezbollah weapon depots, the violence is pushing Lebanon into further instability. The strikes have also triggered the displacement of over 100,000 people, with estimates indicating that the true number of internally displaced persons could be as high as half a million.

The devastation caused by the recent airstrikes and the resulting displacement underscores the grave humanitarian crisis unfolding in Lebanon. This conflict has already led to significant civilian casualties and forced tens of thousands to flee their homes. The international community must act swiftly to address the growing humanitarian needs.
