The Tactics Institute for Security and Counter-Terrorism is calling on the United Nations to take action to stop the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from interfering in the internal affairs of Sudan.
Recent reports have indicated that the UAE has been providing support to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan, including military training, weapons, and financial assistance. This interference is undermining efforts to promote stability and democracy in Sudan and threatens to escalate the ongoing conflict between the military and the RSF.
The UAE’s actions are unacceptable and violate Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The international community, including the United Nations, has a responsibility to take action to stop external interference in Sudan and to promote a peaceful and democratic solution to the conflict.
The Tactics Institute for Security and Counter-Terrorism is calling on the United Nations to take immediate action to stop the UAE’s interference in Sudan. This can include imposing targeted sanctions on individuals and entities responsible for supporting the RSF, calling for an end to all external interference in Sudan, and promoting a peaceful and democratic solution to the conflict.
The international community must stand together to support Sudan’s transition to stability and democracy. We call on the United Nations to take swift and decisive action to stop the UAE’s interference in Sudan and to promote peace and security in the Horn of Africa region.
