The Tactics Institute for Security and Counter-Terrorism is deeply concerned about the aggressive actions of Russia in recent years, including its annexation of Crimea, its military intervention in eastern Ukraine, and its involvement in the conflict in Syria. We believe that the European Union (EU) must take further action to hold Russia accountable for its actions and to deter further aggression.
As an independent think-tank dedicated to providing research, analysis, and recommendations on security issues, we recognize the critical role that sanctions can play in achieving these goals. The EU has already imposed significant sanctions on Russia, including those related to its involvement in Ukraine and its human rights abuses. However, we believe that more can be done to increase the pressure on Russia and to prevent it from continuing its aggressive actions.
We call on the EU to impose sanctions on any country doing business with Russia. This would send a clear message that the EU will not tolerate any actions that support Russia’s aggressive behavior. The EU must use its economic leverage to deter other countries from engaging in business with Russia.

We urge the EU to stand firm against Russia’s aggression and to take the necessary steps to hold it accountable for its actions.
Furthermore, we call on the EU to support Ukraine and other countries that are under threat from Russia. The EU should provide increased economic, diplomatic, and military support to help these countries defend themselves against Russian aggression.
